Welcome to the first ever VoCamp in Montpellier WhatIsVoCamp, and first ever VoDaCamp. VoDaCamp because we focus on Vocabularies and Data.
During the camp we will develop a few scenarios based on the datasets data providers will bring. We will select and develop or extend vocabularies allowing to represent the data. We will publish datasets based on the selected vocabularies. We will interlink these datasets with existing datasets already published as linked-data.
The VoDaCamp Montpellier is organized following international efforts on publishing open data on the Web of linked data and initiated by the linking open data W3C interest group. This event is supported by the Datalift ANR project and follows activities performed in European projects LATC, Planet Data and LOD2, and similar projects in overseas such as the data.gov wiki.
The VoDaCamp will be held on two days on the 27th and 28th of September.
The following are outline timings for the event which are unlikely to change. Apart from these timings, exactly how we spend the time will largely be determined during the event.

How to arrive
Here people can suggest vocabularies and datasets to work on. Just put a topic in the list and other people can put their names behind it to indicate interest in that topic.
