Peter Sforza is the Director and Research Scientist at Virginia Tech's Center for Geospatial Information Technology. He provides leadership for geospatial initiatives at Virginia Tech including the development of the 3D Blacksburg Collaborative www.3dBlacksburg.org, using a 3D semantic city model framework based in OGC standards (CityGML). Peter teaches a graduate level Web Mapping course in the Geography Department at Virginia Tech.
