Linna Li is a postdoc in the Center for Spatial Studies at UCSB, interested in GIScience theories and applications. Li has a B.S. in Earth and Space Sciences from Peking University in China, an M.S. in Geography from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in Geography from UCSB. She has a wide range of research interests, from geographical knowledge representation and communication to geovisualization and spatial cognition, including spatial data analysis and modeling. Currently she is working on two projects: conflation of heterogeneous geospatial data and volunteered geographic information (VGI).
