Kripa currently works at Environmental Systems Research Institute. She earned a Masters degree in Spatial Information Science & Engineering from the University of Maine, Orono in 2007. Her thesis was titled “Combining Geospatial And Temporal Ontologies”. She co-authored a paper “Combining ontologies to automatically generate temporal perspectives of geospatial domains” (published in GeoInformatica 14, 4) with Kathleen Hornsby.
