User:Karl Grossner

I am currently a researcher at UC Santa Barbara Center for Spatial Studies (PhD 2010 Geography, UCSB). My research interests include the representation of geo-historical knowledge in databases and spatial thinking generally, across disciplines. In January, 2012 I will begin a position at Stanford University Libraries as a "digital humanities developer" -- working collaboratively with historical researchers interested in mapping spaces and places, whether conceptual (semantic), geographic or social.
