I work as a Digital Humanities Developer at Stanford University Libraries, where I collaborate with humanities and social science scholars on a select set of typically year-long projects. Most involve mapping things -- in both geographic and conceptual spaces. I am a recent UCSB alum (Geography Ph.D. 2010) My research interests include the representation of geo-historical knowledge in spatial-temporal databases, as well as spatial thinking and reasoning and learning generally, including the development of trans-disciplinary spatial learning objectives.
