Currently I am Assistant Director of CHIA Project and Postdoctoral Associate at World History Center, University of Pittsburgh, and Visiting Research Fellow at Center for Geographic Analysis, Harvard University. I have obtained my B.S. in Geography (Cartographay and Geographic Information Science) from Nanjing University in China, a M.Phil. in Geography (Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Science) from Nanjing University in China, and a Ph.D. in Geography from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining World History Center, I had worked at Center for Geographic Analysis, Harvard University as Visiting Research Fellow and in the Department of Geography, University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist, I was also a Visiting Scholar and Spatial Consultant in Center for Spatial Studies and Department of Geography at UCSB. Recently, my research interests center on the applications of GIScience on Social Science and Humanities.
