Joi Grieg serves as the INSA Council on Technology and Innovation Senior Fellow where she supports events such as the Innovators' Showcase. While at the Library of Congress, she served as the Assistant Director for Research and Development responsible for Relationship Management, Service Management including PM and Development Processes, as well as portfolio management and enterprise applications. Prior to that, she was the Director of Science and Technology at Maden Technologies, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business where she was responsible for business development; an Enterprise Account Manager at a DoD agency where she was responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and leveraging technology; and spent more than 20 years at IBM where her last assignment was as Deputy CTO for Technology Solutions within IBM's Integrated U.S. Federal Account team.

Joi has a long-time interest in spatial ontology and other technologies related to geospatial and knowledge.
