My PhD in computer science at USC as was on generating high-resolution gazetteers from internet resources, specifically with respect to footprint delineation (geocoding). I'd like to attend as this seems like a great opportunity to discuss and plan next iterations of research on the topics of bottom up gazetteer generation, especially data and methods for including newly emerging types of traditional and non-traditional geographic data streams.
