Boris Villazón-Terrazas is a research fellow in Artificial Intelligence at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. His research interests are focus on Linked Data and Ontology Engineering, among others. He has participated in several European research projects. He has been published more than 30 papers in journals, conferences and workshops.

He is involved in several initiatives for the application of Linked Data in Spain within different contexts from several Organizations, such as Instituto Geográfico Nacional/Instituto Nacional de Estadística (GeoLinkedData), Biblioteca Nacional, and Grupo Prisa Digital (El Viajero). Moreover, he participates in the development of a set of tools for generating and consuming Linked Data, such as NOR2O, ODEMapster, map4rdf, geometry2rdf, and sitemap4rdf.
