I am a Ph.D. student in the University of California, Santa Barbara Department of Geography. My advisor is Keith Clarke. My research interests include geographic feature extraction, generalization, visualization, computer vision, remote sensing, LiDAR, geostatistics, and geographical uncertainty. In my work with feature extraction and generalization, I found the domain of ontology helpful for definition of characteristics and relationships for complex features.
