I am a biological oceanographer at the Marine Biological Laboratory. I currently work on biodiversity informatics, machine learning applications in biological science and bringing biology to the semantic web. Previous projects include the Encyclopedia of Life and the International Census of Marine Microbes. Current projects include the Data Conservancy and the Global Names Project.
